I LOVE Jessa Skincare & Sugaring! I found them a few years back when looking for a place to get a facial where natural products were used. I had no idea I would find such a gem! The staff has always been super sweet and knowledgable, and I have always enjoyed my facials! I just tried my first sugaring service and am so happy to learn of a "new" way, a natural way, for hair removal. I also love their products and use a bunch of them. I had such a wonderful experience with Jessa! She made me feel so comfortable right away! I have been going to Jessa Skincare religiously for about 5 years. I have been a client of Jessa herself and most recently Kelly - you CANNOT go wrong with any aesthetician here. I have treated myself to facials, peels, spray tans, waxing and of course their infamous sugaring. The staff are all professional, kind and personable. My daily facial regiment consists only of their products (wash, toner, serum, cream and sunscreen). The face wash (Aloe C) is a family favorite (yes kids and husband too). I have been going to Jessa for a number of years now and I don't think I will ever be able to go anywhere else! Before I discovered Jessa Skin my waxing experienced was without conversation, fast, tense, and incredibly impersonal. Jessa makes me feel very comfortable, and I feel like I can talk about anything with her. She is fairly quick, but only because she is so experienced and knowledgeable. She is very cleanly, and always describes her cleaning process, therefore I am very trusting that everything is always up to par in terms of sanitation. I go in on a monthly basis and ALWAYS leave happy. Not only is her skill consistent, but her products are also amazing. I went in for waxing, but have developed better skin because of using her products. They are all natural and made by her!! I HIGHLY recommend Jessa Skin!!

I recently opened a waxing studio in San Diego and Ive searched high & low for sugar! I never thought I would be able to find quality sugar like I had in my prior salon. Fantastic place that truly respects as well as perfects their own craft. I was able to get a last minute walk-in appointment as I was visiting from out of town and was in desperate need of waxing services. I've been told by staff that Jessa, the owner, makes their own products, which you do not typically see in salons. While I'm quite the snob when it comes to customer service and practices. Their knowledge and service delivery has more than made up for it, which is quite rare.

The way they remove hair with their sugaring practice is different from what I have been costumed to, in that the sugar is applied at room temperature, all by hand, using no strips whatsoever. While I found it to be more painful than my past experiences of (receiving a Brazilian) sugaring and waxing services, they were by far the most thorough, with very little hair. Their maintenance program for a Brazilian makes a lot of sense too (double plus) If I lived in this area full time, I would be a regular of this place. They are fantastic.

I have been seeing Melissa for regular sugaring and facials for at least 1.5-2 yrs now. I love the service she provides and all of the products. I actually only use Jessa products now and have tried at least 60% of the line. My skin has dramatically improved since starting to use the products; even others have noticed.

If you haven't tried sugaring for hair removal, I highly recommend it, especially for the face. The sugar here is really great (Jessa makes everything herself!) on my skin and everything is handled very professionally. Melissa told me about the hygienic measures they take and it is impressive.

I drive an hour each way to come here since I recently moved out of San Rafael because no other place compares to the quality of service and products here. The women here are also really welcoming and fun to talk to.
